2026 & 2027 enrolments are now open

Our waiting list for the 2026 and 2027 kindy years is officially open. As a small community kindy, places are limited and always offered in waitlist order — so families who join early have the best chance of their preferred year.

Joining is free and takes two minutes: use the waitlist form or email your child's name and date of birth to admin@chelmerstationkindy.com.au. We'll confirm your place on the list within a few kindy days.

Open morning — come and play

Saturday 16 May, 9:30–11:30am. Our gates open to every family who's curious about kindy life. Meet our teacher, tour the outdoor classroom, let your little one test-drive the mud kitchen, and chat with current kindy parents over morning tea.

No booking needed — just bring a hat and your questions. If you can't make it, you can always book a tour on a kindy morning instead.

Working bee — thank you, kindy crew

Twenty-six parents, four grandparents, one extremely helpful toddler with a toy wheelbarrow: our March working bee was the kindy community at its best. The gardens are mulched, the sandpit is topped up, the fences are freshly oiled, and the mud kitchen has a brand-new bench.

Being community-owned means days like this are how our kindy stays beautiful — and how new families become old friends. Thank you to everyone who gave their Sunday.

New year, new friends: term one begins

The first weeks of kindy are a special kind of magic — cautious hellos becoming best-friendships by morning tea. This year's group has already established a restaurant (menu: sand), a construction company (specialty: wobbly towers) and a band (volume: impressive).

To our new families: welcome. To our returning ones: welcome back. It's going to be a wonderful year of big growing.
